Be About It
There is a distinct difference between the people that go out and get it versus the people who talk about what they want and never truly commit to it. I’m sure that a majority of people have wanted something in their life. Regardless of what your objective is, you want to achieve it. I’ll tell you from personal experience and you yourself have probably wanted something more from life but haven’t had the time to do so, or most times forget about it. I myself had the mission to work out more to do better for my body, and let's be honest there’s a lot of people out there that want that nice beach body that’s so hot you can cook an egg on it. See I talked about it but never put my mind towards it. Until I joined a gym and I started looking better for myself. For those of you reading believing that this is “easier said than done” it might just be for you. When you’re young you naturally have all the time in the world when you grasp the responsibility in doing what you're supposed to do the first time without being asked. I know I have a routine for the things I do and if it helps you, you should create one for yourself. Don’t ever tell yourself you don’t have time because if you are THE go getter, you go out and get. Now I don’t mean to knock any of your private business that you have going on but if you want it then you get it and that is the way it is. No shortcuts no nothing because there is no alternative for hard work. If you simply don’t have time, you organize and plan until you are able to make time to be used for your own personal engagement. Talking about it won’t get you anywhere without having the proper work ethic. You can try to “speak it into existence” but what do you get out of it if you're just sitting around not doing anything to actually get it done. You fail productivity with procrastination. Don’t ever let someone have to tell you to go out and get what you want, ( unless ironically that person is me since you're reading this ) if you really want it then you work for it because only you can comprehend the importance of what you see fitting for your time. Again if you need a starting point to work towards achieving that thing you want, here is a small piece of advice in order to help you.
Set a reasonable task for yourself. It's important that you don’t stress yourself to complete something that is practically impossible for you considering your personal situation. You want to start with something you see beneficial for yourself, nothing crazy but simply sensible.
Once setting a goal for yourself to reach, find a rational time for you to be able to commit to it. If you ever want to actually get around to completing your goal, time management is key. You set a time for yourself to get it done and you get around to doing it.
Eliminate distractions. Most of us are subject to the invisible annoyance of chronic procrastination. You will never be able to achieve your goal if time is wasted, and time wasted is time you will never get back. Don’t ever wait to get to the thing you want because if you want it you waste no time in getting it.
Lastly, once you are able to set a goal, make time for yourself to work towards it, eliminate distractions for you to focus on it. You simply just have to not abandon your mission. You do not go through the difficulties without completing what you wanted. You understood the challenges in completing the well thought out task you had for yourself and you should refuse to quit. You shouldn’t refuse the dedication towards your own betterment
